We are so excited to celebrate with you!

When Tessa and Braden went on their first date, they didn't expect it to go anywhere. It was Braden's second semester of his senior year at Penn, and both of them thought there was no way it would turn into anything serious (especially after Tessa spent 5 minutes declaring baseball, Braden's longtime sport, The Most Boring Sport in the World) . How very wrong they were! Tessa got a formidable introduction to Braden's family when 27 of them attended his college graduation. Since that first date, they've traveled, become pet parents to Vern and Winnie, and built a life together in Austin after closing the distance in March 2020. Despite spending 9 months in quarantine together, Braden proposed in February 2021, on a glamping trip in the Texas Hill Country.

On their first anniversary, Braden and Tessa set a $20 gift limit. Braden gave Tessa a shadow box, filled with mementos from their year together, including the wine cork from their very first date. Tessa gave Braden a vegetable growing kit. The shadow box became a yearly tradition. In 2021, the shadow box included a costume ring, Braden got down on one knee, and the rest is history!

As we have gotten closer to the wedding and watched COVID ebb and flow, we have decided to require vaccinations for all attending guests. Please also COVID test within 72 hours of the event with either a PCR or a rapid at-home test. If you can not procure a test before arrival, please let us know, and we will have tests available at the hotel.
